4. STATUS OF INTERNATIONAL TREATIES
IN NATIONAL LAW
The Political Constitution stipulates that it is the fundamental
charter of the Republic and all other laws are subordinate to it.
Thus, it says that those laws, treaties, orders or rulings that
are contrary to or alter its provisions shall have no force whatsoever.
