11. CONTEMPT AND SEDITIOUS LIBEL

Art. 307 of the Criminal Code refers to the crime of contempt:

?Whoever offends or denigrates in public the President of the Republic or his substitute shall be penalized with 6 to 10 months in prison and from 20 to 50 days fine.?

Art. 308 of the code extends the crime of contempt to government agencies.
