9. OTHER RESTRICTIONS ON THE CONTENT
OF INFORMATION
Section 2208 of the Code of Criminal Prosecution restricts
public admission to courtrooms where trials involving children are
taking place, in behalf of the minor?s interest. Section 2237 (d),
provides for storing files of cases involving minors separately
from those of adults and these files will not be available to the
public. Section 2237 (e) forbids the publication of names or photographs
of minors; violation of this rule is classified as contempt.
Section 4078 ff of the Criminal Code provides for imprisonment
of up to six months or fines of more than 500 dollars, or both,
for persons who write, prepare, publish, announce or solicit anyone
to publish or exhibit an obscene advertising or who by any means
promotes the sale or distribution of obscene material.
