4. STATUS OF INTERNATIONAL TREATIES IN NATIONAL LAW

In Uruguayan jurisprudence, in terms of hierarchy the National Constitution is in first place, followed by the laws then the administrative decrees and resolutions.

International treaties are part of the second level under this hierarchical structure ? that is, they are considered as laws.
