DEGREE REQUIREMENTS The Dominican Association of Journalists was created by national
law, but membership in it is not compulsory because in 1989 the
nation?s Supreme Court overturned Law 148 of 1983 that established
the Association. Nevertheless, the association has a disciplinary tribunal and a code of ethics.
