16. COPYRIGHT IN NEWSPAPERS
The Federal Copyright Law recognizes this implicitly and expressly
in favor of the real authors or creators in the strictest sense
and the ancillary rights.
Examples are as follows:
? The right to recognition
of authorship: Article 2, Paragraphs 1, 13, 15, 16, 17 and 56.
? The right to oppose
any alteration or mutilation of the work.
? The right to its
integrity: Article 2, Paragraphs II, 5 and 43.
? The right to oppose
change of title, form and content of the work: Article 59, Paragraph
1.
? The right to a pen
name and anonymity: Articles 17 and 56.
? The right to reconsideration:
Articles 16 and 24
? Characteristics of
moral right: perpetuity, inalienability, inability to be subject
to a statute of limitations and relinquishment : Article 39 regarding
Paragraphs I and II of Article 29, Article 45.
