e r u 17. REGULATION OF OWNERSHIP AND REGISTRATION
REQUIREMENTS OF PUBLICATIONS The Single Text for Administrative Procedures regulates this
issue under the subtitle ?Registration of Periodical Publications.?
This section establishes the registration requirements and addresses
the issue of Legal Deposit mandated by Law 25,326. Article 1 of this law states: ?The printers of books and brochures
are obligated to send to the National Library six (6) samples, which
are to be distributed as follows: Three (3) for the National Library,
one (1) for the municipal library or locality where they were printed,
one (1) for the library of the Senate of the Republic, and one (1)
for the library of the House of Representatives, today called the
Democratic Constituent Congress.?
