Miami (May 23, 2013 )—The Inter American Press Association (IAPA) today described as arbitrary and a coercive act the order to local cable companies by the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) to suspend the signal of Venezuelan TV channel ATEL Televisión.

Condena atentado contra periodistas en Honduras
Miami (21 de mayo de 2013).- La Sociedad Interamericana de Prensa (SIP) condenó el atentado en Honduras contra un periodista y un camarógrafo, al tiempo que anunció hoy que una delegación internacional de la organización visitará Tegucigalpa la próxima semana con el propósito de abordar temas de libertad de prensa y sobre la aplicación de medidas tendientes a garantizar la protección y a combatir la impunidad en los crímenes contra periodistas.
