Iary Gómez Quesada, Diario Extra, San José, Costa Rica, es propietaria y gerente general de la compañía que compone Diario Extra y La Prensa Libre, dos canales de televisión y dos estaciones de radio. En 2013 fue reconocida por el Colegio de Periodistas de Costa Rica por su lucha a favor de la libertad de expresión y de prensa. Es graduada de la Universidad Internacional de las Américas (UIA), Universidad Central (UC) y Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica (UACA) y obtuvo tres títulos con la extensión de Harvard University.

Iary Gómez Quesada, Diario Extra, San José, Costa Rica, is the owner and general manager of the company that has Diario Extra and La Prensa Libre, two television channels, and two radio stations. In 2013 she was recognized by the Costa Rica Journalists Guild for her fight for freedom of expression and press freedom. She is a graduate of the International University of the Americas (UIA), Central University (U.C.), and Autonomous University of Central America (UACA) and obtained three extension degrees from Harvard University.
