Marcel Granier, RCTV, Caracas, Venezuela, es abogado y director General de RCTV. Ha sido miembro del Directorio del World Paper, del Consejo Consultivo de IBM y presidente del Consejo Empresarial de América Latina (CEAL). Ha sido reconocido por su defensa de la libertad de expresión en la Asociación Internacional de Radiodifusión (AIR), la Asociación Brasileña de Empresas de Radio y Televisión (ABERT), la Asociación Nacional de la Prensa de Chile, la Asociación Salvadoreña de Radiodifusores (ASDER), el Gran Premio SIP a la Libertad de Prensa y la Federación Interamericana de Abogados, entre otros.

Marcel Granier, RCTV, Caracas, Venezuela, is a lawyer and RCTV general director. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of World Paper, the Advisory Board of IBM, and the President of the Latin American Business Council (CEAL). In addition, he has been recognized for his defense of freedom of expression by the International Association of Broadcasting (AIR), the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television Companies (ABERT), the National Press Association of Chile, the Salvadoran Association of Radio Broadcasters (ASDER), the IAPA Grand Prize for Freedom of the Press and the Inter-American Federation of Lawyers, among others.
