A new service included is the full texts, usually in Spanish, of speakers presentations made at recent seminars and workshops.
"This innovation represents another step forward in our constant effort to strengthen links with the regions news media," said Julio C.F. de Mesquita, president of the institute and publisher of the Brazilian newspaper, O Estado de S. Paulo.
The Press Institute, directed by Ricardo Trotti, is a non-profit branch of the IAPA based in Miami, Florida. Its main purpose is to provide IAPA members with technical information and training. Activities include the organization of seminars and workshops, publication of a quarter trade magazine, Hora de Cierre, and distribution of specialized books.
